Ann is someone who delights in doing her craft. I do. I am also a wife, a mom, a grandmom and even ... gulp ... a great grandmom. I lead a very well rounded life, and in that, I know what I enjoy. Now finished with all the child rearing, settling into the auxiliary role of grandparent, I have the chance to let all those creative electrons mass together and form an expression of experience, focus, joy and even sometimes, a little bit of brilliance in my work. Pardon me if that sounds egotistical. But this is a self promotion vehicle, is it not? And I am the only one here who can and will toot my horn. I try to keep it a little on the softly side. So basically, that's what I'm about. I write some copy, make context for my clients, I teach some good ways to think about entrepreneuring, if you will and a somewhat unorthodox approach to marketing. I also write stories for children, slightly unorthodox again, and I write novels. I will illustrate anything that interests me, but only things that are appropriate to good clean business, ethics and morals and the integrity that hallmarks my thinking. That same thread follows through to my designs and the websites I author, counsel about and host. And the jewelry. I have an innate sense of what crystal forms are about and what similar matrices gold expresses. All of which is why I work exclusively in crystal materials and gold wraps.

Indian Ruby . Eastern Indian, not American. Yet it is Ruby albeit in its rougher form . This stone uncut is rife with geometric dynamics .

Point Betsie Lighthouse at Frankfort, on Lake Michigan, just a ways on down the shoreline from us. This is where weather happens and I am particularly pleased with capturing the essence of that scene, with just one very fine line pen point. A special favorite.
